Last Monday, 4th July, the DOGV published in the DOGV the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the improvement of accessibility to housing.
Although it is pending the publication in the DOGV of the document of convocatoría of the same, which will indicate the dates of submission of applications, from GESTIFINC we advance the eligible actions, with the intention that in case you have any community of owners or housing interested in carrying out any of these interventions, you can go preparing the necessary documentation since the award of these grants will be granted on a competitive basis, whose sole criterion for awarding the grant will be the order of submission of applications.
Eligible actions:
a) The installation of elevators in buildings without elevators.
b) The renovation of existing elevators, installation of stair lifts, ramps, automatic door openers incorporating motorized mechanisms or other accessibility devices. The installation of stair lifts will be subsidized when the technical impossibility of any other more integrating and accessible solution is justified.
c) The installation or provision of support products such as cranes or similar devices, as well as technological guidance systems that allow the location, or those that allow access and use by people with disabilities to the common elements of the building, such as gardens, sports areas, swimming pools and the like.
d) The installation of information, communication or warning elements such as luminous and visual, vibrotactile or sound signals that allow orientation in the use of stairways, elevators, etc.
f) The installation of electronic communication elements or devices between the dwellings and the exterior, such as video door entry systems that provide visual and auditory information and the like.
g) The installation of alarm devices in the elevator that guarantee a visual, audible and bidirectional communication system with the exterior in case of emergency.
h) The installation of home automation and other technological advances to promote the personal autonomy of elderly or disabled persons.
On the other hand, we remind you that as in previous calls, within the requirements and documents needed to apply for the grants, it will be necessary that the community of owners or housing has drafted the IEE of the same, and that in this is indicated the need and the type of action proposed for the improvement of accessibility.
